Costa Rica Fasting Internship

The Costa Rica Fasting Internship is a rewarding and exciting, hands-on approach to health education. You will see before your eyes the healing power of the body and finally experience what healthful living truly entails. As interns, you have the privilege of acting as a lifeline, in service to people seeking to regain their health. In addition, this program is designed to give an intensive education in health creation.
This education includes:
- 100 hours of lectures in natural health led by Dr. Graham
- experience creating Simply Delicious cuisine
- critical thinking sessions
- daily discussion groups
- supplemental reading in Natural Hygiene, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and fasting
For a minimum of 36-40 consecutive days (depending on the length of the event), your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- monitoring the fasters
- befriending the fasters and helping them through one of the most vulnerable experiences of their lives
- caring for the facility as if it were your home
- preparing daily meals
- attending all lectures
- attending all meal discussion groups
We leave no moment unplanned during this monthlong adventure into healthful living. This is a fully immersive program and when you leave you should know:
- how to create luscious meals for all occasions
- how to describe healthful living to other people with thorough understanding of the basics of health creation
- how to explain the fasting process and why it is beneficial to those seeking to regain health
- the basics of running a fasting facility and supervising fasts
- the dangers of fasting and why supervision is necessary
- what it takes to be a leader in the health movement
Due to the sensitive nature of this event and the atmosphere we must provide for the fasters, an application process is now in place so that we can ensure each faster and each intern receives the most rewarding experience possible. This event is as much for the interns' education as it is for the fasters' healing, and we need each person to be equally dedicated to the goal and outcome of this event. Out of respect to those who are putting their lives and health in our hands, we ask that only those who are serious about being a part of this incredibly rewarding experience apply. Please submit a nonrefundable processing fee of $75 with your application. This fee is in addition to the cost of the event, which is $4999.00.
